Commercial Design
Specialising in Business Reception and Meet & Greet areas, our concept design service transforms nondescript entrances, receptions and waiting rooms into modern welcoming spaces, giving visitors a clear statement about you and your business.
By understanding the need to brand your business using corporate logos and livery, you create an identity by which your target market identifies you. So it should come as no surprise that the need to carry that branding through to your interior design is crucial to unify the business identity you have created. This sends out a clear, concise message about your company setting you apart from your competitors.
How Does it Work?
Following an initial site briefing, two dedicated designers will work with your team to get to know your corporate culture, who you are and who you want to appeal to.
We'll develop two Mood Boards for the Concept Design, both of which interpret your brief, but be quite diverse in design to offer you a choice of style.
We'll present our Mood Boards in person so we can discuss and incorporate any changes you need before re-presenting them once the concept has been finalised.
If required, we can source and supply everything specified within the design, or work with your contractors to ensure the finished scheme remains true to the concept.
Commercial Projects
1. Park Place, Leeds
As part of a large refurbishment project, the dated entrance and stairs to the ground and upper floor offices of this Victorian building set in the heart of the Leeds business quarter, required updating to attract vibrant new tenants.
The brief: A bright, modern scheme to appeal to a cross-section of businesses.
Using bold Aubergine carpeting throughout, the entrance was given a confident modern look with striking chandeliers, chrome wall lights and stair nosing. This contrasts with a pale lime wall covering and feature wall panels on the half landings.
Conclusion: All office space let in record time.
At first we thought the colour palette you presented was quite bold and adventurous, but decided to trust your judgement on it. We needn’t have worried, the entrance looks fantastic and the feedback from our clients was superb……. I thought I’d also let you know that all the offices let in record time, unlike many others. Well done girls, we’ll be in touch again!

2. Wellington Street, Leeds
A listed building with single tenanted use, we were commissioned to re-design an awkwardly shaped, dark entrance reception and stairs to complement newly refurbished office space above.
The brief: A high quality design to reflect law or financial sector tenants. Must be safe in terms of appeal.
The entrance was given an organic feel using wood effect resin flooring broken with Olive Green carpeting on the stairs. Panel mirrors were used to square off the awkwardly shaped entrance corridor and the enclosed area opened up using a neutral colour palette. Blocks of tactile wall coverings on prominent facing walls form a backdrop for feature lighting displays and seating area.
Conclusion:
You’ve outdone yourselves again, our client loved both schemes that you put forward…… You certainly think outside the box and come up with some great ideas………. I can’t help noticing when we’re on site that you’ve always given a great deal of thought to even the smallest detail. Well Done!
